Jos, How long have your been in business?:
PHB has been around for 7 years (and I've also had other businesses prior to)
Tell us a little bit about the work you do: My mission in life is to shine the brightest spotlight on Women Entrepreneurs on a global scale. I am a stand for having the world think of women entrepreneurs' first and buy from us 1st. I started Promote Her Business Int'l to make it easier for women to promote themselves and get results quicker. PHB Int'l is a hybrid between a global, Virtual Networking group and a year-round Marketing/Sales training program -- and there is nothing else like us. We are a role model of how Advanced Networking and "doing business her way" is done. Our PHB Int'l community started formatting Virtual Networking events -- to build deeper relationships quicker -- 5 years before any of the other networking groups started designing their own virtual events due to Covid. We are united around The 12 Principles to Promote Her Business and locking arms to be masterful as Women Entrperenurs and get more yes' than ever before!
How or why did you begin doing the work that you do?:
My passion for female empowerment started when I was in Girl Scouts as a Daisy -- caused me to keep going until I received my Girl Scout Gold Award in highschool-- and then never stopped. I started putting on events for girls when I was 7 years and continued putting on events/trainings -- for girls who turned into teens who turned into women -- every year since then... so I have almost 4 decades of experience. The reason I started Promote Her Business was to empower women entrepreneurs to make money by doing what they loved by getting more opportunities to promote their business and build win-win relationships, while supporting other women entrepreneurs too:)
What kind of things do you assist your clients with?:
Building more inspiring, win-win relationships by attending Virtual Networking events
PHB Int'l teaches Women Entrepreneurs the best ways to promote themselves and each other: Online. Offline. All the Time.
What SUPER TIP or piece of advice would you like to share with the world?:
Think about something you've really wanted to succeed at in your business, something that always seems just a little bit out of reach. Something that when accomplished, would make you feel like you finally hit the "big time" and something that you'd go as far as to say that you're feeling "desperate" to win at.
When I said the word "desperate" did it make you cringe a little bit?
Here's my SUPER TIP: there is no shame in feeling desperate, shame -- and denying your feelings -- is just one more obstacle to your success. Feeling desperate is a healthy sign that you’re aligned with what you’re passionate about, and you care so much, it hurts. It would actually be weird to want something so bad, be feeling stopped or stuck, and Not feel desperate.
The issue isn’t that you’re feeling desperate, the issue is how you react to that feeling. Desperate times do Not call for desperate promotions. Desperate times call for inspired promotions. How do you turn desperation into inspiration, which more of your ideal audience buys into? Take PHB's 3 proven steps to desperation turning into business transformation: 1) Admit it. 2) Ask for Support 3) Expand Your Options.
